What is New?

The last official release of MKMCXX v2 was 2.15.4 in 2018. Since then, the project remained unchanged until the release of v2.16.0, which delivers only minor updates. The key changes are the removal of SIGINT functionality, which previously caused portability issues, and the introduction of statically compiled binaries for Windows and Linux. The Linux binaries are built with conservative GLIBC versions to ensure broad compatibility. All existing features from earlier versions, including lateral interactions, the electrochemistry module, and the reactor module, remain fully supported.
